The Victoria Horticultural Society Special Presentation: Fruit Growing for Small Spaces

The Victoria Horticultural Society will meet on May 7, 2024, from 6:30 - 9:00 pm. at the Garth Homer Centre (813 Darwin Ave).   At 6:30 p.m., members of the Victoria Rhododendron Society will host a workshop.  Our main speaker at 8:00 pm is Barrie Agar, who will address the topic “Fruit Growing for Small Spaces.”  She will present different methods to grow fruit that will fit in compact spaces and still be ornamental.  Barry recently retired as Head Gardener at Royal Roads University and is currently the President of the BC Fruit Testers and Cowichan Valley Rhododendron Society.  Only $5:00 at the door for non-members! For more information, visit www.vichortsociety.org .
