Welcome to the Victoria Master Gardener Association (VMGA) website!  Our next members' meeting is our Annual General Meeting on Sunday, November 20th from 2 - 5 pm at HCP Pavilion, 505 Quayle Rd.   VMGA has also organized several summer educational events - members, please check your email for details.

  • Local Garden Events:  We have a new feature, Out and About has transformed into a calendar where you can see how busy our gardening community is! 
  • Clinics: The 2016 calendar season has been emailed to members.
  • You Asked Us ...actual questions (and researched responses) presented to Master Gardeners at clinics in their community.  Check it out here
  • Mixing it Up in the Urban Garden, January 28, 2017:  Spend a day with gardening enthusiasts and experts in the midst of winter! More about VMGA:

VMGA is a volunteer organization whose members share a passion for gardening and the willingness to share this passion with the community.  Established in 2000, our mission is to provide the most up-to-date information on reliable and environmentally responsible horticultural pratices for our region. 

All members have completed the Master Gardener Basic Training program in Victoria or are Master Gardeners trained elsewhere.  To learn about becoming a Master Gardener follow this link...  

Our members live on southern Vancouver Island, including Greater Victoria, the Gulf Islands and up the Malahat to beyond Mill Bay.
