Displaying the beautiful veggies picked at the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden, one of the biggest weekly harvests to date. We weigh and wash the veggies in the shed before taking them to the Sechelt Food Bank

The Powell River Open Air Market hosted the annual Fall Fair on September 24 & 25 2011. A 2 day community event celebrating the fall harvest Artisans sell homemade jams, crafts and perform music that invites all to dance in spite of a blustery weekend. Four Master Gardeners participated at their booth both days providing Question and Answer Clinics. Questions varied from vegetable gardening on top of an oyster farm, gardening on a shell midden, to wire worm infestation.
